Work experience
Danil Hristich joined LeGran.TT team at the end of 2015. Prior to that he worked as a lawyer in one of the major Ukrainian law firms and has experience in maritime law, international trade, court practice and arbitration.
Danil provides legal services to Ukrainian and international companies on a wide range of issues related to sale and purchase of goods, carriage of goods, chartering, and transport in general. Danil successfully represents interests of shipowners, forwarders, cargo owners, maritime agents, container lines as well as international banks and P&I clubs.
He also has an experience in legal support of disputes in commercial and administrative courts as well as in Ukrainian and foreign commercial arbitrations like ICAC at Ukrainian CCI, LMAA, FOSFA and GAFTA.
Since maritime law and international trade always contain a foreign element, Danil has knowledge of English contract law and successfully applies it in practice to resolve disputes, as well as to support foreign trade contracts.
He is the author of numerous articles in various business and specialized Ukrainian editions on legal topics related to transport, maritime law and international trade. Co-author of the book “Collision of Vessels” Conducted a lot of workshops at leading law universities of Odessa.
Also Danil often participates in events dedicated to the various issues of transport industry.
